Gag Me With a Spoon

No seriously. It’s not my shtick to share these things, but some things are SO special, they must be shared with my blog “public.”

Hair people frolicking

Calder-like hair portrait

These are "hair drawings" made by someone I assume to be a college student living in the dorms sharing a bathroom with countless others. Here are the thoughts running through my head:

Who does these things?

Who willingly touches the hair left behind in a communal shower (such is the case here, my comrades)?

Who wastes their time this way?

Did they do this at the end of their shower or did they return later when dried and dressed to complete the project?

Did they have a vision?

Did they choose the hair they wanted carefully or just work with what was on hand…or er, wall?

I’m just so completely grossed out.

Or am I just missing out on all the beauty around me?

Is this artist making money on this? Cuz I've got plenty of raw materials to work with after every shower. You've got the talent, I've got the hair, let's make lots of money...
Plus will you go jeans shopping with me?
Plus, Happy Birthday in 2 1/2 hours!

I don't know... somehow these sculptures really "speak" to me. They're saying, "HEY! CLEAN YOUR SHOWER!"

Happy Birthday, birthday girl. Sit up at midnight and watch your profile change from 30 to 31. It will be so exciting!

I think you misspelled blog "public." You meant pubic, right?

I left Zookeene a "hair message" on the shower wall yesterday, but it dried and fell down before he saw it. Maybe I should preserve it with hairspray next time??

This is like a nightmare--the hair in the shower conspiring against me, leaving messages...I can actually feel it in my throat, gagging me...ew.

Did you hear me dry heaving? I'm dumbfounded. It is so utterly, grotesquely disgusting. I wouldn't do such things with my OWN hair much less the strangers in a dorm shower. Ugh.

I actually think these are really cool. I think I would enjoy looking at new art every time I shower. Come on, hair in the shower is just a given. Hair DRAWINGS in the shower, now that's something to sing about.

I agree, Brittany. By the way... the hairspray works GREAT for preserving hair art!

You have sufficiently made me ill. I who would touch someone else’s hair? I’m not feeling so well right now, I think I have to go vomit.

um...don't take this the wrong way but I REALLY want you to post again soon. I'm just not sure I can handle the "hair pictures" anymore. Do I have weak stomach? Yes, yes...I guess I do...

bleh... ;)

I'm seriously getting teary-eyed here because there isn't anything new on Stuff-N-Stuff today. Come on Ceeb...make my day! Or call. That would be fun, too.

Yes, please, a new post--one that's easier on the eyes.
